Beachfront California city selects ESM Purchase, ESM Sourcing
The City of Santa Monica is the latest organization to automate procurement and streamline sourcing with ESM’s cloud-based spend management solutions.
The beachfront community in western Los Angeles County, California, is home to about 90,000 people and, over the next two years, will have a $1.5 billion biennial budget.
Santa Monica will deploy both ESM Purchase, ESM’s eProcurement solution, and ESM Sourcing, ESM’s online solution for bids and vendor solicitation. Using them together, the city will simultaneously improve visibility, control, and transparency of its spend, and find new opportunities to save.
With an intuitive user interface, ESM Purchase offers a consumer shopping experience where organizations can send users directly to approved vendors and negotiated contracts, cutting back on maverick spend and boosting savings.
ESM Sourcing lets users automate the entire process for bids, RFPs and vendor selection. With tools that allow for online collaboration and communication, the solution makes it easier for organizations to engage more prospective suppliers and secure more competitive bids to get the best prices, terms and agreements.
