University of Maryland, ESM Purchase going live with Workday

It’s not just the newly laid tracks for the state’s light-rail Purple Line that are connecting Terps across UMD—critical university systems are being connected too. ESM is proud to announce the successful implementation of ESM Purchase Integrated Cart with UMD’s Workday Finance system.

With the launch of ESM Purchase integrated with Workday, the solution is already processing hundreds of orders seamlessly. An ESM customer since 2018, UMD originally utilized ESM Purchase integrated with Kuali. During the transition to Workday Finance, the university chose to retain the advantages of ESM Purchase and leverage ESM’s Integrated Cart capability to continue providing a streamlined shopping experience for faculty and staff. This includes access to more than 16 high-utilization punch-out catalogs.
