Community college system moves to ESM for better integration, support

Wisconsin Technical College System Purchasing Consortium has swapped its former eProcurement provider for ESM Solutions to achieve more efficient spending, automated workflows and other spend management benefits.

Wisconsin Tech’s purchasing consortium is the latest higher education institution to switch to ESM and implement easyPurchase from a previous solution provider.

The Wisconsin Tech system serves the equivalent of more than 84,000 full-time students in 16 campuses across the state of Wisconsin. It will use ESM’s easyPurchase, an intuitive online ordering application that automates the procure-to-pay process and allows organizations control and visibility of their spend.

ESM has become a leader in providing eProcurement and spend management solutions to large higher education institutions with multiple locations. Campuses throughout the University of Tennessee, Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana and the California State University systems all use ESM products to manage spend, control costs and improve compliance. Representatives from all three systems were among the speakers at this month’s Explore 2015 ESM user conference in Charleston, S.C.

Higher education institutions can achieve even more savings, efficiency and benefits when they work together, said Anthony Rotoli, ESM’s CEO.

“It just makes sense,” Rotoli said. “We’re thrilled to have WTCS join the ESM family and look forward to a quick and smooth implementation.”
