Mercer County Schools Make Procurement More Personal With ESM-WVEIS Solutions

Located in West Virginia, Mercer County Schools selected ESM Purchase, integrated with WVEIS, to modernize its procurement operations. There are 106 public schools and 74 private schools serving a total of 56,075 public school students and 11,203 private students within Mercer County.

And WVEIS integration enables the schools to streamline processes, eliminate paper forms, and reduce manual effort, whilst still maintaining the necessary compliance at a state-wide level, a goal many schools in the West Virginia system are keen to achieve.

As a result, accurate and more accessible purchase requests will be readily available to all teachers and administrators. Purchase orders will be created automatically, including all the details from the purchase request thanks to the integration with the WVEIS system. The procurement team gain full visibility and insight into the active requests and purchases, all achieved in less time and with fewer steps than they experience today.

ESM is responding to the need and desire to change old and manual procurement practices within the WVEIS community of school districts.
